The INCIRCULAR project invites you to the launch of its cascade funding – a funding opportunity of up to €60,000 for SMEs supported by the Interregional Innovation Investment Program (I3). Don’t miss this chance to take your ideas to the next level and make a lasting impact on the world of plastics and circularity research and innovation.

Cascade Funding, also known as Financial Support to Third Parties (FSTP), is a mechanism of the European Commission adopted by INCIRULAR to distribute public funds for SMEs in the adoption or development of innovation in the plastics sector.

About the project

INCIRCULAR – INtegrating Cybernated Innovation to Raise the Scale of Circular Units Looping Allied Regions is a three-year project launched in October 2023, co-funded by the European Union’s Interregional Innovation Investments (i3) instrument.

INCIRCULAR mission is to enhance collaboration within the recycled plastics industry sector, aiming to improve its capabilities and promote the transformation of recycled plastics into new materials through the adoption of innovative technologies.

The event will take place on September 12, 2024 from 9 am to 10:30 am in Lyon (Villeurbanne), France.

The INCIRCULAR Cascade Funding Info Day will provide an overview of the cascade funding opportunities available within the scope of the INCIRCULAR project and the Interregional Innovation Investments (I3) Instrument. Attendees will receive background information and learn about the support available for SMEs on how to apply for this funding. Additionally, the session will cover eligibility criteria, application processes, and tips for developing successful proposals. Experts will be on hand to answer questions and provide guidance.

We are also inviting you to participate in the emulation session and discussion panel which will take place following the Cascade Funding Info Day. The session will focus on advancements and innovations within the EU plastics sector. The session will be organised featuring presentations of EU-funded projects operating in the fields of plastics and circularity and will provide insights into the progress, challenges, and successes of these initiatives, highlighting how they are shaping the future of the plastics industry within the European context. The following panel discussion with these projects will explore the latest advancements and innovations in the plastics sector driven by EU-funded projects. Special invited guest – Valentina Pinna (EC Dg RTD – Industrial Technologies, Nanotechnologies And New Materials).
